One half of our co-founder and event host duo, C.J. Welles, lives a chaos-filled love story of her own with her husband, three beautifully wild sons, and fur-babies Coco and Pippin.

When she’s not pulling readers into an emotional whirlwind of angst, heat, and healing, you’ll find her soaking up the little joys in life: sunrise moments, Hart of Dixie reruns, her mum’s cooking, wax melts, Amy Shark on repeat, thongs (aka flip-flops), and procrastinating with a Billson’s in hand.

C.J. writes the kind of stories that wreck you in the best way, and she pours that same passion into Books In-Sight, making every event one to remember.

Our incredible co-founder and event host, J.A., calls Melbourne home where she lives with her high school sweetheart, their two kids Ashton and Jasmine, and fur babies Kobe and Lilli.

By day she’s a super-mum, and by night an author who can’t resist diving into hot, steamy romance reads.

When she’s not writing or wrangling kids, you’ll find her dancing, bingeing Netflix, or daydreaming about her next travel adventure.

Powered by coffee and chocolate (preferably together!), J.A. brings endless energy, warmth, and passion to everything she does, including leading the way at Books In-Sight.

Books In-Sight author events are amazing! My bestie took me along to my first one years ago and I’ve been hooked ever since. I love seeing my favourite authors and catching up, and also meeting new authors. The events are organised and attended by amazing authors who truly care about their readers. Books In-Sight events are just the right size for you to be able to see all authors at the event in one day. Many books come home with me at the end of the day. lol.
